What is podography?
The optic podography has been developed for measuring the dispersion of pressures acting on the soles. By means of this method, the digital picture is obtained recording imprints of feet. Particular colours are assigned to different pressures distributed on the sole showing in the scale of colours of the diagnostic programme the highest or unevenly distributed burdens on specific points of the sole.
What are advantages of the calculation process?
The obtaining of the digital record is not time-demanding and is very easy. Pictures are archived. The arch supporters are produced based on the obtained picture by means of the graphical software.
